Fifa online versus league - fofvl

general rules:

1. please be civil to each other

2. please behave in a sportsmanlike manner

3. fighting on the ea forums or the fovl forums is forbidden - first offense results in a suspension from the current season, second offense results in expulsion from the league.

4. boosts are not allowed in fifa online versus league or tournament games

5. one team per person per season. no exceptions.

6. the final and most important rule is HAVE FUN!!!! its a game, so enjoy it

league rules:
1. all games last 90 minutes. the result at the end of 90 minutes is the only result that will count towards your league standing. extra-time and penalties do not count toward your league results.

2. a win will count as 3 points, a draw 1 point, and a loss 0 points.

3. all games must be certified with a screen print. if a screen print is not available both teams must certify the results before they will be posted to the table.

4. all rescheduling of games must be handled by the teams in question, the division administrators will only approve of the agreed upon replay, its your job to find a suitable new date within five days of the scheduled date to replay the match.

5.all goals scored add towards and goals conceded subtract from your goal difference, these are known as "points for" and "points against" on the table. the "net" is your goal difference.

6. in the case of a tie in the league table, it shall first be decided by results against both teams who are tied (for instance if blasphemyx ties maddmanager for 1st division - and he beat maddmanager in the first game 3-0, and maddmanager beats him in the second game 5-0 maddmanager wins the division) in the case of a tie after results have been considered, goal difference, then away goals scored shall decide the tie.

7. games missed with no notification or effort to reschedule will result in a forfeit and 3 points will go to your opponent, and 3 goals will be subtracted from your goal difference.

8. all games must be posted to the season results forum on the day the game is scheduled. you may play your game prior to its scheduled date, but not after unless you contact the administrator for your division with a good reason and reschedule the game with your opponent.

9. the home team invites (this is the team that is shown the location column of your schedule.)

10. a team may exit the season while it is underway and stay in the league. however. all games not played will be considered forfeit. if you decide to return your team will continue from the current date on the schedule. the forfeits cannot be removed from your results.

tournament rules:
1. all games last 90 minutes. if a winner has not been decided after 90 mins, extra will be used to decide the winner. if after xtra time the game is still tied penalties will decide the result.

2. all tournament games are knockout competitions, if you lose your out of the tournament. if you win you move on to the next round.

3. all games must be certified with a screen print. if a screen print is not available both teams must certify the results before they will be posted to the tournament page.

4. cup games are held on Wednesdays, the super cups are held after the league winners have been decided.

5. games missed with no notification or effort to reschedule will result in a forfeit and your opponent will move forward to the next round.

6. the champions tournament will contain the top 4 teams in each division.

heya managers - we have some new forums, including the forum for season awards and results, the rules, and the library where people can ask for and give advice on how to improve their league positions or teams or game play.

in the next week coming up to feb. 1st we will be making the site work smoother and be simpler to use. so please understand if we break it a couple of times in the process.

hey guys, if your having a fifa forums error or cant find the person your scheduled to play today - dont worry - if you can play your games or have already - just hold onto the result until the error is fixed.

if you cant find your opponent or communicate with them - there will be no forfeits or defaults today.

well the first week was totally mad, and held no lack of drama or surprise!

in the premier league the league has changed leader 4 times already, and looks set to do so again this weekend, unless things get less competitive in the top half of the table. as we stand, any of the top 8 players are still in the running to coast to win the league, and no one should feel safe in their position.

defense is proving the difference between the top teams, once again proving if they cant score, they are not likely to win. with both marian and ysaloo with 6 goals conceded in 6 and 5 games respectively, the only thing differentiating them at the moment is marian's incredible goal run of 22 goals to 15 by ysaloo. and i believe 7 of those goals were scored by iker casillas it certainly brings into question the usefulness of a wild roving keeper who likes to pretend he is wayne rooney on any given day. we did expect surprises but wow!

ysaloo has been neat and tidy through the whole campaign, and should his form continue through this weekend, he will be sitting atop the table with 3 points clear of the nearest opposition.

however, if is a proving a big word this season! i suspect tkako and marian will be doing their best to see that doesn't happen.

tkako has had a stellar opening week, the only thing keeping him out of the top two spots is his goals conceded, which atm are twice the leaders.

in the middle of the table challenging with a respectable 8, 9, and 10 points there are no less than 6 teams, all with a ton of goals scored, but the leaders have taken their toll on the middle of the table, with the top 3 managing an amazing 23 goals scored against mid table teams.

have no doubt, tho, that blasphemyx, im_dogg, maddmanager, klaasvak, gameraiderr and dupique anyone of them could move to the top in a couple of games.

one thing that unites the middle of the table with the bottom half is a unique affinity for scoring less goals than conceded, meaning there is a lot of negative goal differences on the table - squarely half the table have not had defences that could cope in the first week. emmalicious was the lowest scoring team in the div, but was only 8th in goals conceded, a middle table defence, while sirius micro has a mid table scoring results, emmalicious, ronster13, and arcedia have not managed to make chances produce goals, with 6,7, and 8 goals between them.

add that to defences that have been conceding 26, 20, 17, and 16 goals, all beckoning towards a relegation place.
things can change, and if any of the bottom of the table teams find their scoring apex in the next week, they could zoom up the table.

well no one said it would be calm, or easy! we def. got exciting!

When someone Disconnects from the match no matter the time left on the clock, the players have the right to ask for a rematch to play those minutes left. So for example, lets say YSaloo plays emmalicious1 and emma disconnects at minute 67' with a score of (YS)3-1(Emma). Then emma has the right to ask for a rematch to play the 23 minutes left, and then the result of those 23 minutes will be added to the 3-1 from the first match.
